Internal and external alterations to a listed house to include the removal of inappropriate and ad hoc extensions, a new extension, a new door opening in the N elevation, new glazed French doors in the W elevation, repair of windows where necessary, removal of the 20th century staircase and re-instatement of a newel stair in the original location, removal of inappropriate and ad hoc partitions, creation of a new shower room, new electrical wiring and pipework for central heating, new radiators and distribution on the first floor, insulation of floors throughout, underfloor heating throughout ground floor, improvements to the thermal fabric of the roof, overhaul of existing roof and replacing modern eternal tiles with natural slate, insulation of walls if feasible, removal of cement render and plaster board linings internally, new water installation and plant room. Erection of a cart-lodge for garaging and storage.
