Proposal:

Demolition of the existing building to facilitate a mixed-use redevelopment comprising a single, part 5, part 6-storey building with Co-Living Accommodation (Sui Generis) including ancillary facilities, and commercial floorspace (Use Class E), along with hard and soft landscaping, cycle parking, accessible car parking, refuse and recycling facilities, and other associated works. Further details of the proposed development includes the following, which does not form part of the formal description of development: Residential Accommodation: 156 Purpose-Built Shared Living Units (Sui Generis), comprising 5,473 sqm Gross Internal Area (GIA). Commercial Floorspace: 130.6 sqm GIA of commercial floorspace (Use Class E). Height: The development consists of a single block of part 5, part 6 storeys in height, with a height ranging from 28.46 AOD m to 31.51 AOD m (plus ASHP roof structure). (The development may impact on the setting of the nearby designated heritage assets including Grade I, II* and II listed buildings and the Royal Arsenal and Woolwich Conservation Areas) (Reconsultation is required following the receipt of amended plans and documents, which reduce the building's maximum height by 2,290 mm and decrease the total units to 156 rooms, which includes reconfiguration of the top floor massing and consolidating external amenity into a single 268 sqm roof terrace).
