Reason: tree is 6m from rear of house, and leans heavily over the neighbour's garden no.37, an arborist informs the tree is structurally unsound and needs to be felled, concern about it falling onto neighbouring property. Informative A: planting a replacement smaller species tree is encouraged, such as Magnolia stellata, quince (Cydonia oblonga), Amelanchier, crab apple, Cornus controversa variegata (the wedding cake tree), hazel, elder. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
