Excavation to deepen the basement level under nos 40-46 Brook Street; raising height of fourth-floor ceilings in the rear townhouses (nos. 42-46 Brook Street) and installation of three plant decks with localised structural penetrations to accommodate supporting beams; installation of new external plant equipment and associated enclosures at roof levels, and erection of a lightweight pergola at first-floor level between the townhouses and the mews building, together with two new roof lanterns at ground floor level; replacement of non-original windows at ground and second floor of no. 40 Brook Street, alongside other elevation alterations at ground floor level; reinstatement of historical features, internal and external alterations including localised fabric removal, installation of a corner turret and side gables; and other associated works.
